Chai Lavie“Tony”

Chai Lavie is an actor and musician. He was born in Toronto and grew up in New York City, where his passion for arts and music blossomed and evolved. He studied the trumpet for 14 years, performing in such venues as Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. He travelled in Central and South America for a year, volunteering for three months at an after school program for underprivileged youth in Lima, Peru. Upon his return he joined the Drama and English department at the University of Waterloo, followed by Humber College’s Theatre Performance Program, where he recently received his advanced stage combat certification. Some highlights of his time at Humber include working on Gulliver’s Travels (Gulliver) with Tatiana Jennings, Macbeth (Malcolm) with Diana Belshaw, The Idiot with Dean Gilmour and Michelle Smith, and Till Eulenspiegel née Necropolis, with Varrick Grimes. He would like to thank his family and loved ones for there continuing support.
